Privacy Policy
The short version
We are a small business that builds and hosts websites for service businesses. We collect only what we need to deliver our services and respond to inquiries. We do not sell your information, ever.
1. What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, business type, and the message you send. When you use a site we host on your behalf, our hosting provider may log standard server data (IP address, user-agent, referer, request time) for security and reliability.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and provide a quote.
- To deliver and maintain the services you have purchased.
- To send occasional service updates (you can opt out any time).
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we use to operate the business — for example, our email provider, our hosting infrastructure, and our payment processor. Each of those vendors has its own privacy policy and processes data only on our behalf.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing.

5. Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email rightnow@rocketship.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (e.g. California, EU, UK), you may have additional rights under laws like CCPA or GDPR. We honor those rights for everyone.
6. Data retention
We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Active client account data is retained for the life of the engagement plus seven years for tax and legal reasons. Server logs are typically retained for 30–90 days.
7. Security
We use SSL on every site we host, store secrets in a password manager, and follow industry-standard practices. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
